today I briefly present Lizzy, a teddy bear made by Steiff....
...a new playmate of my niece who have moved to her children's room just in time with her first birtday last week.
Before that I made for the bear a pink coloured kerchief...
I thought, it's a nice colour for a girl.
Lizzy is really cute.
As I told you on my last post I visited my sister for one week and came back last week by train.
Actually I like to make journey by train, but what has happened last week was awful. I have never been through before. It was an exhausting train journey! Considering that I was alone.
In fact the train trip for the way of about 470km used to take 4,5hour, but last week I was more than 8 hour on trip!
Due to the defect on the train door which was not reparable the train was not able to continue the journey. So all passangers had to take other train to continue their journey. But no one knew how and what kind of train connection we should take. There was no first-hand information about the further train connection.
Fortunately there was an kindly employe of German rail company who on the way to work.
He recommended us reaching Hamburg central rail station by the stated regional train first for obtaining further information.
But I had lots bagagge I have to carry by myself!
So I began to collect my strenght for carry out all my baggage from the train. Fortunately it worked.
The regional train was on time. Hurrying I carried all my baggage again and entered into the overfilled regional train and looked for a place to stand. After half hour we reached the overfilled Hamburg central rail station. In quick acting I took my bagagge and went to the information desk towards the exit.
There were 20 desks and all were occupied. So I took a ticket and waited for my number to be called. Fortunately it was not too long.
Finally I got my train connection which will arrive one hour later, but a seat reservation was impossible.
No seat reservation mean to me 3,5 hour train trip on standing. It would be awful for me. But what could I do, nothing! I just was able to wait the outcome.
Packed full of bagagge I went to the end of the way and accessed the passanger platform with all the baggage through the stairs. It was so exhausting!
Unfortunately, I didn't notice that not far from the stairs was an elevator.
My feet became heavier and I began having trouble facing this odyssey.
After 45 minutes wait the destination board showed the arrival time of my train.
I was so relieved. But it didn't last very long, because the destination board showed suddenly other train number with other destination. After that it came a message through the speaker that my train had a delay of 30 minutes.
Believe me, I could explode at that time but nevertheless I tried to keep my composur and concentrated my energy on me and my bagagge.
After the train arrived and I luckily found my seat place, I felt how I left all my worries far behind and was really tired.
A few days later my bones were still aching. This is no wonder, I did a hard physical activity to tote the baggage all at once by myself.
To top it all, with a delay of about two hours the defective train continued its journey after all and reached the point of destination one hour earlier than the train where I was.
I was really lost for words!
Have a great weekend, everybody!
